Our rehearsal room has made a backing track surprisingly difficult to judge. Certain bright passages seem coarse over the speakers, but the headphone version feels less obvious. Before changing the file, I want to rule out the playback chain. There is time to try a second speaker and repeat the passage at a lower volume. What would be a sensible order for those checks? One topic I am reading about is suno fix in this context. That is background reading, while the actual playback comparison still needs doing. If the issue persists across systems, I could compare a short edited duplicate with the original. I will use the same excerpt for every comparison, write down the playback level, and ask another person to listen before we make any decision about changing the source recording. I want the track to remain clear enough for the players to follow its rhythmic cues.
