My last short cut looked fine in the salon, but I could never recreate its shape before work. For the next appointment, I want to compare bob lengths with the time I actually have to get ready. My hair bends outward near my jaw, so a perfectly straight reference photo may be a misleading starting point. I saved a page while searching for blonde bob and would use it as a starting point for comparing outlines. I would keep the colour unchanged and focus on where the ends sit, rather than changing several things together. I think side and back references would help, because the front photo does not show the whole shape clearly. I want the consultation to cover what happens on a normal day when I skip the brush and dryer. The most striking reference is not necessarily my first choice if maintaining it would take more time than I have. If you have a similar bend in your hair, which details helped you explain the problem to your stylist?
