Right — been on this thing for about six months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I'd write something up since someone asked me the other day. I'm in the UK, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.
The reason I started using it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could figure out what an ew return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I'd just guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.
The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return instantly, either odds format. There's also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that's where I'd always lose track. The thing that really made a difference was the geekier tools. The odds-to-probability converter that shows what margin's baked in, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator is decent for when I'm splitting a race.
It's not perfect mind. The layout is very functional, let's say — zero frills, it's clearly function over form. Phone-wise it's usable though the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, just the site — fine by me but you asked.
Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does what it says. If anyone still does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
